Homework In second grade students receive homework four nights a week, for 20 minutes each night. Most weeks
students should expect assignments for practicing spelling words, as well as grammar and math. They should also plan
on practicing their reading every night. As we study the seven continents over the course of the year, there will be
periodic assignments to study the maps. These assignments will either be in the form of a bingo game or a label and
check game of oceans, seas and the major landforms on each continent.
